Meet the CareTeam

Send by emailCentral to our model are clinician-led teams expert in members’ conditions and specialty therapies. Each CareTeam is comprised of pharmacists, member service representatives, and – depending on the therapy – nurses. These clinical experts are dedicated to the treatment of a particular condition and undergo training and education related to the therapy for which they will be providing services. The teams regularly contact members to assess, educate and provide focused support, including:
- Confirming medication on hand before scheduling next shipment
- Educating members on how to take their medications correctly
- Reviewing proper medication storage and handling
- Troubleshooting side effects to help members stay on therapy
- Communicating treatment issues to the prescriber
- Coordinating care with third parties, as needed
