We are Experts in Specialty Medications
Every year, more and more people with chronic and genetic disorders are living longer, healthier lives, thanks in part to specialty medicine. As one of the leading and most experienced providers of specialty pharmacy services, CVS Caremark understands the complexities of injectable, infused and select oral medications. We are committed to helping our members make better decisions about their health care. We do this by providing condition-specific education and support, as well as helping our members learn how they can take their medications correctly and safely.
Access to Pharmacists and Nurses
CVS Caremark goes beyond just dispensing medications. In fact, filling your prescriptions is just the beginning. As part of our service, we also offer counseling regarding your condition, how best to manage it and the latest developments to get the most from your medicine. In addition, you can call our pharmacists and nurses 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for emergency consultations – please call the toll-free number listed on your prescription label.
The information we supply on this website, in the Health Resource Kit and other materials is intended to supplement the expertise and judgment of your doctor, pharmacist or other health care professional. It is not meant as a substitute for that expertise and does not indicate that the use of any medicine is safe, effective or appropriate for you.
With more than 30 years of specialty pharmacy experience, CVS Caremark provides quality care and service. We have a network of pharmacies which includes those with The Joint Commission and URAC accreditation. These accreditations are nationally-recognized symbols of quality which reflect an organization’s commitment to meeting the highest standards for quality and safety in the delivery of health care.
All medications are delivered promptly in temperature-controlled, secure packaging. We also include any required ancillary supplies, including needles, syringes and alcohol swabs.
